Even with all that is going on in the world today with the pandemic, elections and shut downs there is still plenty to do in Zihuatanejo, Mexico. Luckly, the beaches are big and restaurants are plentiful so social distancing is easy and was always practiced in some form for privacy. Also, most establishments are an outdoor / indoor concept with fresh air. Zihuatanejo is known as being a relaxed destination with no large crowds. The beaches don't have people packed together like Florida, California and other places in USA. Walmarts in the USA will have more people going in and out in one day during the month of December than Zihuatanejo will see in a year.
Back at the villas, the staff has taken classes to obtain local certification to ensure sanitation procedures between groups, guest and staff are followed as directed by the WHO. Also, the villas have far less guest, staff and vendor traffic than any hotel.
