Changes at Pacific Vacation: Why Pre-Stocking of Food and Drinks Will No Longer Be Provided


At Pacific Vacation, we have always strived to offer the best vacation experiences for our guests. Whether it's through our luxurious villas, top-notch amenities, or personalized services, we have always made it a priority to exceed our guests' expectations. However, we have recently decided to cease our pre-stocking of food and drinks at the villas, and we want to take some time to explain why. As much as we want to provide our guests with the best, this particular service has become unproductive, and we believe that both our guests and our team should discontinue it.

When we began offering pre-stocking services five years ago, it was meant only as a basic service that would provide our guests with essentials until they could go to the supermarket. However, in recent years, we have noticed that many of our guests are now placing complex food orders for several days, sometimes with very elaborate meal requests. While we want everyone to have the most wonderful culinary experiences while they're here, it has become increasingly difficult to fulfill these requests before our guests even arrive.


As our team at Pacific Vacation is available all day, we have found that our guests should discuss their food requirements once they arrive at the villa. This way, we can ensure that the guests receive the exact food and drink they want and that everything is fresh and up to standard. The team members you meet, whether chefs, servers, or housekeepers, are on the ground and able to cater to every guest request. Most of the guest team interaction pertains to meal options, presentation options, and meal times. Our team members are equipped to provide extensive food and drink options, discussing all the fine details from logistics to dietary needs, making it possible for guests to personalize their dining experience on-site.


Moreover, we live in an era where food allergies, sensitivities, and personal preferences are commonplace. All of these issues are best managed and discussed on-site with our team. We understand, especially if you're from outside of Mexico, that food labeling can vastly differ from what you may be used to. Our team is trained to discuss in detail all the nuances around what may affect you while ensuring you have a safe and wonderful stay.


Communication is vital to us; our guests must have direct contact with the staff at the villa. We understand that some guests may prefer to try and take care of everything conveniently; however, engaging with the team on-site at the villa is the most effective way to ensure a hassle-free, safe, and enjoyable experience.
